COME INSIDE IT'S RAINING

Come Inside It’s Raining was commissioned for Brighton Digital Festival in partnership with the Spire an arts and performance space in a former church.

The piece was part-funded from the Grassroots funding pot that the festival used to support projects that might attract audiences that would otherwise not engage with it. Come Inside It’s Raining by Thomas Buckley was selected via an open call, which asked that the proposed piece be site specific to the Spire and attract a local audience – the Spire is located on the edges of East Brighton, a demographically poorer area of the city.

Using projection, sound and old-school theatrical tricks, Thomas Buckley brought a rainstorm inside – you can see a video of the work here.
